Absolutely phenomenal food: fresh and delicious, friendly staff - good stuff all around. The shrimp/mango ceviche in particular was impeccable. A great pairing where the mango complemented the shrimp with a hint of sweetness. The freshly made chips that accompanied it were also excellently salted and varyingly crispy and flaky. The pupusas were also very tasty, with the onions and accompanying sauce adding depth of flavor. All in all, I'd recommend it. Next time, I'll probably bring someone to help me tackle the meal, as I had to grab a to-go box.
Drop everything you’re doing and come to this restaurant right now. The San Pedro Maduro, Pupusas, and Beef Short Rib Soup will turn even the worst of days around immediately. I WILL be back.

Came to New Orleans for a week, I got tired of the same ol'food at every restaurant. This place is totally a hidden gem. The food was fresh and delicious! So if you're like me and looking for something a little different give this place a try. I promise you won't regret it.
This place was something else.... Amazing! The food was beyond delicious. I thought I had tasted everything until I tried the Pupusas Sandwich, just wow! I cannot emphasize enough what an amazing experience I had.
Food was amazing. Priced right too. I ordered the carne asada plate, 1 single pupusa (just to try it), maduros with beans and crema, 3 Mexican tacos and omg my new favorite place. Definitely going back.
Tia Maria’s Kitchen is out here blessin the streets!! You can get pupusa tacos and the baleadas are god-tier. The first time I came in for breakfast on my way to the dome for a Saints game. Today I came in for my birthday breakfast.
